Wanting to watch a movie and then realizing you’re going to have to go drive to a store to rent a DVD can be quite a pain. Now, you have an option without ever having to leave home. With the number of rent DVD online sites available, your task is down to some browsing and a few mouse clicks.

Besides having to waste gas on a drive to the store, you’d also have to march down badly organized aisles of movies, with no system to help you find a specific title or what you might be interested in. Such things are available on websites, where you can do all, looking at everything sitting down.

Even after going to the video store a first time, you’d have to return, just to drop the DVD in a box to return it. Now, with no late fees, you can hold on to your movies. Later, when you are ready to send them back, you only need to use the provided envelope in the mail.

How many movies would you expect to find at the store? Maybe a few thousand, depending on the store’s size. Now imagine 38, 000 options, from all sorts of genres. You might expect to pay a lot for something like this, but prices are really quite reasonable.

Some people like older movies, which you might not be able to find at a store. Others like new and popular ones, which might well be sold out. When you go to a website, you’ll be able to find just about anything, and it will almost always be available then and there.

People might argue that this method is just lazy. But it goes beyond that - renting movies from the store really was just irritating as well. You’d have to stand around with people who all wanted to rent different things and then stand behind others in the long lines.

Clearly, the process was quite a pain. Just review the benefits already mentioned when renting online - the lack of late fees, the ability to watch as many times as you like and then send them back with ease. Who would choose the old ways?

All you have to do to start getting movies is join, pay the membership fee, and make a list of movies. Different plans will send different amounts of DVDs at a time, but when you’re done, new ones will come out automatically when the old ones are returned.

You might think it will take your movies several days to arrive, but thanks to the nature of the companies, they’ll come much faster. There is some waiting involved, but at the low prices, it’s not a big deal.

Will renting online really save you money? Yes, which you know very well if you’ve ever forgotten a rental until it was long overdue. Late fees and regular rental costs add up, while a monthly membership fee is easy.

When it comes down to it, you might just not have the time to go rent movies - and now you don’t need to. With all the arguments in its favor, there’s no reason not to rent DVD online.
