Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format created by Adobe Systems in 1993 for document exchange. PDF is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a manner independent of the application software, hardware, and operating system.
Many free online PDF conversion sites exist on the Internet today. Simply upload your word, excel or any document and fill in the form which usually only requires your email address. The converted PDF document should arrive via email or a download link will be provided within seconds.
Additionally, there are many software utilities that will create a PDF file from most original documents. Most of these work using a print driver of some kind which will read the output stream and create the PDF from that. Some software utilities use RTF editors with built in converters. These tools are not always free.
Varying and inconsistent results can be obtained from these print drivers and utilities. Different fonts being used, poor images, inaccurate tables, final page count may not match and even the final PDF size could be enormous! This could be acceptable for some general reports, but not when you want a PDF for documents such as:
Your business plan, a business brochure, a business presentation, a business quote or proposal, your resume, your thesis, your restaurant’s menu, a product catalog, an e-book, a book report and a form, contract or agreement.
Cheap of free software products and/or print drivers are simply just not good enough. There is only one software product on earth, capable of creating 100% accurate PDF documents: Adobe Acrobat!
XtoPDF.com renders professional PDF documents. The output document is always 100% accurate, because Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended is used. Humans, not scripts execute and verify your documents. Quality is assured.
