Intuit’s QuickBooks Pro has a lot of features you’ll find useful. QuickBooks Pro lets you customize your accounting program, to fit the business you do. For example, if your business is product based, you can customize your invoices one way. If you are service-based, you can customize your invoices another way. Whatever your situation, QuickBooks Pro will be able to meet your needs with its accounting software.

QuickBooks Pro is user friendly and the ease of use is excellent. Navigation toolbars make it simple for you to move around the program. One of the main toolbars gives you an easy route for the tools you will need. Clicking on the toolbar, a popup menu will appear. This popup menu shows you how to use the program and the order you need to do it in. The installation was also simple and fast. QuickBooks Pro runs on Windows Vista without a problem. Setting up your company will be easy.
Help and Support: Five stars out of five
Help and support in the program itself is unbeatable. This section has easy to use navigation and search tools, and you can simply type in a topic to receive a list of tips on that topic. You also have a help button in the “quick help” menu, and a list of frequently asked questions, or FAQs, is also included.
How Does Accounts Receivable Rate? Five out of five stars
You can use the Accounts Receivable tools in QuickBooks Pro’s Customer Section. However, one disadvantage of this particular tool is that you cannot use it to create recurring invoices or to estimate shipping costs.
Accounts Payable: 5 Stars
This section of the program is available in “Vendors.” You can use inventory tools here, and you can also take care of any other Accounts Payable-related tasks.
Payroll: 5 Stars
QuickBooks Pro’s employee section is where you can find the Payroll feature such as direct deposit.
Inventory: Four stars out of five
This section is available in QuickBooks Pro if you look in one of the upper toolbars under “Item.” With this section, do service management for your business, item management for your business, or create costing methods, drop shipments, and inactive items. Some things are duplicated in the Vendors’ section, such as assemblies inventory and adjustments.
Banking: 5 Stars
This feature is useful, but existing checks can’t be voided in this software.
Time Billing: Four stars out of five
This section is in the employee section and gives you the ability to track weekly or daily time. You can also use an included timer with this feature.
Job Costing: 4 Stars
You’ll find Job Costing under the customer section, and here, you can create job estimations, track jobs, and set jobs. You can also specify whether jobs are inactive or active.
General Ledger: five out of five stars
General Ledger is located in the company section. You are allowed to perform business planning, view account charts, set budgets, and manage money.
Fixed Assets: Three stars out of five
The biggest disadvantage of this program. Fixed Assets section is not included in QuickBooks Pro. You can only access a list of company assets.
In conclusion
In general, QuickBooks Pro is excellent software to help you run your business seamlessly, even if you don’t have a head for accounting. Even though it’s not perfect, it does offer a lot of advantages that will help you satisfy any accounting needs of your business.
