Advent may have good prices but you are trading off support options when you buy from them. They have no support site. You can’t get the specs of the motherboard to see if it has a pcie-x16 expansion slot.Rotsa Ruck if you have driver issues.

Run over to Dixons or Currys and pull the side off the display model and look.

sure you just have to change the whole motherboard.

I see ok ususally a desktop will come with expansion port for these newer computers it’s usually a PCI-E slot so get a PCI-E videocard. but be warned. these guys only gove you a power supply to support what they give you if you get a better video card you might need to upgrade the power supply too.

Haha, change the whole motherboard. No, no you don’t have to do that. You can add a card. On the link you put, I couldn’t tell if it was on board or not. But, if it is, no matter. They will provide a PCI-e slot to upgrade the card.

If it isn’t integrated, then, just swap the cards out.

As long as you have a PCI-Express X16 slot on your motherboard you can install a dedicated graphics card and override the integrated graphics.

The terminology is a bit confusing, but to update the graphics to a better system you would most likely buy a PCI, AGP or PCI express graphics card. The "On-board" graphics are soldered into the mother board and will remain, and the new card will slide into a slot on the motherboard. The card will come with a disc with drivers to install and there will be a new port to plug in your monitor. Let me know if you need more help.
