What is the best high-end graphics card for this system will it be the
gtx 295 or the 4870×2 or the 4890 or neither, thanks

it has cross fire x support so you can run two ati cards no sli support for nvidia cards,and it is amd cpu supported,by reviews the gtx 295 has outbeat the ati 4890 in benchmark tests running crysis as a base game
if you choose any of the three cards your psu would also have to have a 6pin and probably a 8 pin connector for power connector for the video card as you describe above i would recommend a 800watt psu with one card a 1000 watt or higher with dual cards,since it’s amd cpu supported then i probably go with the ati 4870×2 but it’s your choice all three will work work fine for that motherboard

They all are almost same. one is superior to other on some occassions like high resolution and in different games.
Get with the lowest price.
