The drive will work, the card will too as long as it’s the PCI Express version and not the AGP one (both versions exist on the market).

can i change the ATI Radeon X1200 graphics card and add a dedicated nVidia card?

Advent may have good prices but you are trading off support options when you buy from them.They have no support site.You can’t get the specs of the motherboard to see if it has a pcie-x16 expansion slot.Rotsa Ruck if you have driver issues.

Run over to Dixons or Currys and pull the side off the display model and look.

You have a PCIe slot for a graphics card, however you are limited by your 300 watt power supply.

All newer cards are PCIe, but most use more power than your Power supply can deliver.
