Are there any Home Theater In A Box products with all of these features?

by admin on April 12, 2009

I've been looking all over for a 5.1 or 7.1 HTIB with wireless rear speaker capability, optical audio input, component video input, two HDMI inputs, and at least one HDMI output(1080i at least). I'm sure someone will suggest an extravagant Bose system, but I'm hoping for one that won't break the bank. Do any such products exist? (an optical audio output would be icing on the cake)

There are plenty of HTIB that will meet your criteria except for the wireless speakers. Wireless speakers still need power and if they are battery powered they can't be that strong or will sound pretty bad. If they are not battery powered, you still have to plug them in somewhere.

Wireless speakers aren't all they're cracked up to be. It would be easy to go with a decent Yamaha system thats has good inputs in the back. They have some good prices too

Denon, Yamaha, or Pioneer make receivers that are capable of this. even if you buy a package speaker system and the receiver separate, they would still total less than Bose system. They would also sound better too. Wireless speakers are not really wireless as they would still be tethered to an outlet

HTIB as of right now are limited with what you are asking, you would be better getting a separate system and then adding to it as you go along.

Here is a nice system wireless systems aren't good though they get a lot of interference. It is going to be like a blue moon if you are expecting to get all that in one system because, you will just have to buy a receiver alone like a Denon which is going to cost you $1000.00 bucks right there. Those are just extra bells and whistles But the onkyo systems will provided you with a good sound, and it will be a nice quality it might have some of that stuff, but now days surround systems are getting more popular so they are starting to raise the prices on all the good quality systems. So you are going to be spending a lot of money just go with a system that has good quality and is going to have some of that stuff.
